Moonstar is a very gentle soul she is not one to let others be harmed unless needed. She prefers to talk about things and issues she'd much rather be diplomatic about issues than fighting them out. Moonstar is also kind even to her enemies she will only maim them never killing them, never allowing them to be killed unless it is a mercy to them. She would be kind to everyone until they are not to her then she retliates. Moonstar is a mother many times over, she has had several litters and loves to be around the Nursery so she always tries to be there when kits are born. She will even take in kits if it is needed for the good of others, she upholds the Warrior Code in this regard greatly. Though she is kind and gentle she is also brave almost to a fault perhaps her bravery is one of her greatest failings, she has been known to put her own life at risk to save others.

Description:

Moonstar is a very lean cat she has a light gray hide with darker gray stripes all over her body. She is not very muscular but she makes this up by being swift on paw, she has never really be bulky. Her eyes are a very dark vibrant green color, she is also a small cat as far as size goes.

History:

Moons as a Kit
Moonkit was born to Lionclaw and Riverpetal a pair of warriors in the Riverclan. They were both proud to have her and her two litter mates Oakkit, Sparkkit and Midnightkit, the four them were always together and full of energy. Moonkit was the most energetic of the bunch though but she was always the one that didn't like to play with fresh kill, she hated it when her siblings did. She was also a good kit she would listen but she did enjoy to play she practiced to be a warrior and it was to her liking, she wanted to be a warrior even as a small kit. When she ahd her sibling were six moons of age however Oakkit got his tail caught and broken so it was now kinked at a spot. When they were given their Apprentice names it was a big event for the four of them.
Apprenticeship Moons
Moonkit became Moonpaw, it was an amazing event for the kits. Her brother and sisters were also given the suffix paw to their names, they trained hard to become warriors and to show that they were worthy of being a part of the force that protects the borders of the Riverclan. It was an amazing thing for them, it wasn't long before she was getting ready again to gain a new name this time her Warrior name. It was another time for Moonpaw to show that she was worthy of the name but the moon came for her naming and instead it was a battle. She and her Mentor were on border patrol and they were attacked by another patrol. She was wounded and so was her Mentor, however her Mentor died a couple moons later of his injuries and she was never quite the same again in fact she has a scar along her belly from the fight.
Warrior Moons
Moonpaw became Moonbreeze shortly after the fight, it was because she had never really been a good fighter. She was a great hunter however, it was what made her stand out and apart from the rest of the cats. She was surprised to hear that her siblings had also gained Warrior names, Oakpaw was Oaktail. Sparkpaw had become Sparkfoot, Midnightpaw had become Midnightlily. She was pleased that her entire family were now warriors, she spent the next few moons of her life being a warrior. She was pleased to be sure but she wanted more out of her life but it wasn't to be until she was much older and wiser, however she was given a kit to mentor at least twice and she felt honored to be given that. It was during the later part of her moons as a Warrior that she had a litter of kits, with a white tom named Freezefang. She'd had only two kits at that time and she was pleased she is now looking forward to her next set of kits.
Deputy Moons
When the old Leader died, she was named Deputy and she was honored to become the Deputy of Riverclan. She spent only five short moons as Deputy before becoming leader of Riverclan because the Leader died. She has now spent the last four moons as Leader and she is confused as to what she is doing with some things but she is learning quickly. Her kits Tigerhawk and Cherrypetal are now full warriors, she is pleased by them and hopes that she will see them become great warriors of the Clan.

Moonstar walked through camp musing about the latest kits, what was she going to do? She didn't know who to give them to, after all it was hard deciding who to name as Mentor. She sighed a bit and kept going, she was use to this but still it was an amazing thing to know that all decisions rested on your paws and shoulders. She was confident but still a bit unsure of her own abilities to lead the Riverclan. She sighed a bit and walked on, she was going to make sure she checked on all cats.

What Am I going to do about my own kits? She mused a bit but let that go as well as she walked on and purred a bit. This was the best time of her life, she was going to be making some very important decisions. However her Deputy should be helping her where was he? She wasn't sure but it didn't really matter either. Moonstar kept going and was going to make sure that she did everything right. After all this was going to be a great event for her and her Clan, she was the leader and had to do everything right for it.

She had stopped to rest when she saw Tigerhawk walking up. She was much pleased by her kit, he had grown into a fine warrior of Riverclan. Moonstar purred to her son and looked at him, she was so pleased she spoke to him. "What are you doing my kit?"
