Jaywhisker somehow inherited some of Goldenfur’s genes. Being grumpy and fierce are some of his favorite things. But, yes, he did get his mother's shyness: Jaywhisker will not speak to anyone he doesn't know, especially at Gatherings. He is very soft-spoken, and doesn't like to talk to females, though he is all THEY can talk about. His seriousness is enough for the clan to ever have. He seems to be a mystery to other cats. But the whole of RiverClan knows who he really is. A brave, loyal, cat is really all RiverClan needs.Description:
Have you ever read Roald Dahl's BFG? It's a great book, all about a friendly girl and a big, friendly, giant. Well, Jaywhisker is a DEFINITE BFG. But you might want to cut out the 'friendly' part. He always seems to be bigger than life itself. And that's saying something! Jaywhisker is a huge dark gray, almost black cat with identical white flecked spots along his flanks. Jaywhisker's eyes are just like his brother's: a shiny green. His tail is actually kind of short, unlike the rest of his body.History:
Jaywhisker is the oldest out of his two other siblings, Tawnyshadow and Skysting. They both love to have fun, but Jaywhisker is afraid of having his heart broken again, not after Fernstone. They had both grown up together, and all four kits loved to play with each other. But it was Jaypaw saved Fernpaw from falling over a cliff at the battle between WindClan and RiverClan, Jaypaw who fell madly in love with the she-cat he had known all his life. The young Fernstone fell for Jaywhisker, and the two became mates. But not for long. Fernstone had been expecting his kits when something went wrong. Jaywhisker had been hunting when he found his mate with another tomcat along the river. Fernstone had another mate, and it was his kits that she was expecting, not Jaywhisker's. In a rage, Jaywhisker's heart stopped beating, but it soon started up again. Fernstone tried to apologize and explain, but Jaywhisker's heart was broken, but yet he still loved her. But that night, the camp caught on fire, and a flaming tree killed Fernstone. Jaywhisker's heart has never been healed.
