During the fight with Victoria and the newborns, hikers catch a glimpse of the battling species. The panicked hikers flee back to town, with the vampires' attention on the fight and those in it.
Charlie finds out what Edward is and what he plans to do, and he already knows about Jacob. The Volturi find out that he knows and try to step in and "deal" with the situation, since they're in the area, meaning that they want him disposed of.
Bella desperately wants to help her father, but she's handed off to the wolves for safety so the Volturi won't know that she's still human, which Edward isn't happy about, of course. He only allows it because Bella is much safer with the wolves with the Volturi nearby.
Let's throw another wrench in the mix. The Volturi know of the Cullens' treaty with the werewolves. They debate about what to do with the wolves in the area. They won't be easy to kill, but it's possible with the Volturi's numbers.
Will the Cullens be disbanded? Will the Volturi end Charlie? Will the wolves survive the wrath of the Volturi? Who will be alive when the dust settles? (home) | (rules) | (canons) | (claims) |
