Tearlight is kind to all cats. this includes especially her own clan. She loves being a medicine cat, and being able to help cats that are hurt or injured. Doing the job of a medicine cat helps her keep her mind off of the dark secrets that she holds inside. The secrets tear her up inside, that is part of the reason why she is so kind to other cats. She doesn't wish what happened to her on any other cat, and will do anything she can to prevent it. Even though she is very kind it doesn't mean that she is happy or outgoing.
Tearlight is very intelligent, perceptive and observant. When Tearlight watches a cat, she is able to learn a lot about it by simply watching. She is very wise and usually knows what to do in a difficult situation. She doesn't ever act without thinking on it first. Some of these qualities have made her a fantastic medicine cat. Tearlight also has an extremely good memory. Her intelligence also helps her to understand starclan, which for her is extremely important.
She is also very secretive, Tearlight holds a horrible secret within her that nearly destroyed her. NO one knows what it is. She is usually more on the quiet and mysterious side, often having a hard time being a very social cat. She likes to be alone, in the shadows. But all she really wants is for someone to care. She doesn't think very highly of herself because of what happened to her. Tearlight is usually worried and a little bit paranoid, and a little jumpy
Tearlight is usually very calm, cool, and collected. Or at least she appears that way to everyone in her clan. She has a very good temper and is not easily angered. There are few things that can make her very angry, if you do make her angry you might want to watch out. When she is angry she has a sharp tongue and an even sharper bite. If you make her angry you will be very lucky if you get away without any serious injuries.

Her overall color is white, with black encroaching in several spots. Most of her tail is black with just the base of it being white. She has black boots on her paws the black fur coming up farther on her back feet. She also has black on the back of her neck and shoulders reaching from the start of her back and all the way up to her ears. One line of black followers her whole spine.
Her whole face is white except two small black marks in the corner of her eyes shaped like tears. Hence her name. The black on her neck extends all the way to the back of her head and onto the back of her ears. She has black whiskers. and her eyes are a grayish blue reflecting her inner pain

Tearkit was born to Miseryheart and Shadestar, a forbidden birth. Because Shadestar was a clan leader. Her mother and father devised a clever plan, ensuring that no-one would find out who Tearkit's parents were. Luckily it worked for a time, and no one suspected anything. Tearkit grew into a young healthy cat. But It was not to last, when Tearkit was nearly six moons old, some cat in the clan found out she had been a forbidden birth. Soon everyone in the clan knew, the news had spread like wildfire. A lot of the cats hadn't liked it so unfortunately Shadestar was forced to do something he didn't want to. On a cold snowy morning he went to the nursery and gathered Tearkit up in his jaws. It was not even dawn yet. Miseryheart had begged him not to do it but he had too. By this point Tearkit had woken up and was asking where he was taking her. He told her that they were just going on a little trip. Shadestar and Tearkit traveled farther and father away from the camp. Finally they came to a quiet forest far away from the clan camp. Here Shadestar gently put Tearkit on the ground, then turned to leave. Tearkit confused tried to follow him. Shadestar angry with his clan, and kit suddenly turned around pouncing onto the small kit. He nearly crushed her, she struggled trying to get up, but Shadestar had pinned her with his heavy paws. She let out tiny whimpers of fright and pain. Shadestar glared down at her snarling " Don't you dare follow me again, and if you do I will rip you to shreds" He said slowly, the anger plain in his voice. With that he sunk his teeth into the scuff of her neck and threw her across the forest. Tearlight hit a tree with a thump, collapsing onto the ground. Her limp body forming a small lump. Shadestar padded away leaving his one and only kit to die.
Apprenticehood:
Tearkit was found by a loner living in the area. This loner knew the way of the medicine cat because she had once been one. She nursed Tearkit back to health and took care of her. The loner taught her everything she needed to know to survive. She also taught her about all the herbs and remedies need to know to be a medicine cat.
Now:
Tearlight left after the loner died, making her way back to the clans in the forest. She now is serving Starclan as the Skyclan medicine cat.

Tearlight had a deep dark secret, that she will tell no-one, as it is likely that she never will. Although it is a horrible secret, and a hard burden to bear
