Created by WhiteTigeress, Long~Traveled~Paths is a fairly new Warriors roleplaying site in need of some new members. Below is a list of very good reasons why you should check our site out:
Semi-Literate Community
Long~Traveled~Paths is a Warriors roleplaying site that does not focus too harshly on your writing skills. As long as we can understand what you're trying to say, we won't start waving any grammar Nazi banners at you.
Small, Friendly Community
Because it was created in December of 2009, Long~Traveled~Paths currently has a very small community of only thirteen active members, all of whom are friendly and eager to participate in the community's roleplaying boards. If big roleplaying communities are as intimidating and unfriendly to you as they seem to me, perhaps you'll find yourself at home with us - StarClan knows the thirteen current members are still trying to figure out each other.
Another benefit of our small community is our availability to members who are brand-new to the site and looking for help. Any one of us will very gladly help you with any questions you have about the storyline, characters, clans, or just the site itself, and we'll get answers to your questions as quickly as we can manage so that you aren't left hanging.
Independent Clans and Original Plotline
Long~Traveled~Paths, unlike several of the larger roleplaying sites, does not rely on the canon characters, plots, or clans from the Warriors series. Currently, there are only two clans, made up entirely of cats who have never even heard of Firestar or Tigerstar. The plotline isn't the usual five generations later deal, and focuses entirely on the coming war between ValleyClan and the break off group, QuakeClan.
Because this is a fairly new site, we have only just begun to advance our current plot, which our administrator very fittingly calls WAR. Our characters currently enjoy normal, easy lives, and so you won't be left scrambling to understand any past events before you can start joining the fun.
Small Clans with Plentiful Openings
Although Long~Traveled~Paths has only a few members, both ValleyClan and QuakeClan have around fifteen cats - and by cats, I mean elders, kits, apprentices, warriors... you name the rank, one clan or both will fill it with cats. In ValleyClan, there is an opening for a medicine cat apprentice, and in QuakeClan there is still a sharp need for warriors and apprentices alike. I would also like to add that, while StarClan cats are not considered "playable characters," there are certainly openings for both QuakeClan and ValleyClan ancestors. The StarClan cats will have the ability to discuss prophecies, plotlines, and the dreams they send to cats who will be chosen to have an impact on the current story.
Quick Reaction Time to Broken Rules and Character Applications
The staff at Long~Traveled~Paths has shown to be very quick and constant in the way they handle infractions of the site's firm but reasonable rules. The same is true for the applications our members post for new characters - no character sheet has gone more than twelve hours without being accepted or having its creator asked to make changes.
Although we at Long~Traveled~Paths are all very hopeful that you will decide to give our site a look, the choice is - to speak as a clan cat - in your paws, when all is said and done.
